To celebrate the first flight of the Breitling Jet Team in North America the Breitling luxury watch brand has developed the new Jet Team American Tour Chronomat 44 Blacksteel model that will be released as part of a limited edition of 500 copies. It is equipped with a 44 mm case made of black stainless steel and a black onyx dial. The eye-catching design of these high-end watches is complemented with the various yellow accents that reflect the color of the Breitling Jet Team fleet consisting of seven L-39 C Albatros Jets.


The new stainless steel watches are an embodiment of Breitling relationships with aviation that were finally confirmed in 1952, when the brand launched its iconic Navitimer watch with chronograph additionally equipped with a circular slide rule that could perform all the calculations associated with navigation. Being a cult object for pilots and aviation enthusiasts this chronograph model has been made on the continuous basis for more than 60 years that makes it the world's oldest mechanical wrist chronograph that is still produced. Other high-end luxury watches popular with pilots include the Aerospace model first presented in 1985, as well as the innovative Emergency watch with the built-in transmitter.
